Inauguration Ceremony of ISTE Students’ Chapter at Konark Institute of Science and Technology
The Inauguration Ceremony of the ISTE Students’ Chapter was successfully held on 17 July 2026 at Konark Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
The programme was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Syed Majid Ali, Executive Secretary, ISTE, New Delhi, as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished dignitaries present on the occasion included Prof. (Dr.) Surya Narayan Patnaik, Dean, KIST; Prof. (Dr.) Partha Sarathi Khuntia, Principal, KIST; and Er. Anil Panigrahi, SWO, KIST.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Surya Narayan Patnaik, Dean, KIST, followed by the inaugural address by Prof. (Dr.) Partha Sarathi Khuntia, Principal, KIST. The keynote address was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Syed Majid Ali, who shared his valuable insights on the role of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) in promoting academic excellence, innovation, and professional development among students and faculty members. His inspiring and thought-provoking words highly motivated the participants and encouraged them to actively engage in technical and professional activities.
The ceremony concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by Er. Anil Panigrahi, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members, students, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
